The US Education Ministry of Education Exchange

Birmingham, ala. – The U.S. Ministry of Education appointed the University of Alabama among seven universities, which were examined in a press release on Friday, and then quietly corrected the list to Alabama University in Birmingham.

The Federal Department did not issue a new press release, but has changed the name of the Alabama School in the online version of the publication of March 14, in which 52 schools are examined. The department did not answer inquiries about clarification.

Alex House, Communication Director of the University of Alabama, told Alabama Daily News on Monday afternoon: “The University of Alabama was no longer contractual by the US Ministry of Education by the Ministry of Education on Friday and is no longer listed in the press release.”

The investigations are part of a more comprehensive effort of the Trump government to reduce initiatives for diversity, justice and inclusion in education.

“The department is working on realizing the enforcement of civil rights to ensure that all students are protected against illegal discrimination,” said Minister of Education Linda McMahon in a written statement. “The pupils must be assessed according to earnings and performance that are not biased by the color of their skin.”

Under the leadership of the office of the Department of Civil Rights, the investigation under title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of breeds, colors or national origin in the federal -financed educational programs.
