The USA and Ukraine are discussing timing and location for new discussions

Kyiv announced on Wednesday to have new talks with the United States after Washington stopped sharing the secret service and doing another setback to Ukraine, as it continues to combat Russia.

In the past few days, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has worked on managing the consequences of his public confrontation with Trump in the Oval Office on Friday. After that, the US President cut the meeting briefly and claimed that the Ukrainian leader was “not ready” for peace with Russia.

In his evening speech, Zelensky said that Ukrainian and US officials had started to prepare for the conversations and that “there is positive movement”.

“Today the Ukrainian and American teams started at an upcoming meeting. We are looking forward dynamics, ”he said.

The United States previously said that it had “spread to the secret services with Ukraine in Ukraine”, days after announcing that it also stopped military help.

Mike Waltz, the US National Security Adviser, confirmed that officials from Washington and Kyiv are discussing when and where a new round of peace talks should.

In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, March 5, Waltz said that progress has been made in the past two days, but he did not say who took part in the talks. He added that Donald Trump could consider restarting military help to Ukraine when peace talks progress and steps are taken to build trust.

In a long explanation, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the country was ready to “fight to the end”

Dmytro Lytvun, a consultant by Volodymyr Zelensky, said Suspilne that Andriy Yermak, the head of Zelensky's office, had a call to Waltz. However, he gave no further details.

Shortly afterwards Yermak confirmed the conversation. He said they spoke about steps towards fair and permanent peace, security questions and US Ukraine relationships.

“We agreed to meet our teams soon to continue this important work,” Yermak wrote on his telegram channel.

On March 4, the US President Donald Trump claimed during the speech on Tuesday to the congress that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sent him a “letter” in order to confirm Kyiv's willingness to make a security agreement-but it seems that Zelensky made the same word-for-word statements in a social media post lesson before Trump.

In this declaration, Zelensky outlined Ukraine's proposal to work with Russia, and signaled Kyiv's openness to the signing of a resource contract offered by US President Donald Trump.

The deal, which was originally supposed to be signed on February 28, was delayed after Zelensky's visit to Washington. Days later, Trump assured that the deal was “not dead”, but insisted that Zelensky had to show “more appreciation” for the support of the United States.
