The video reveals plans for the former CNN center in downtown Atlanta

More than a year after the legendary “CNN” brees were removed from the network's former headquarters, plans for the future of the building were unveiled. Take a look at the full video.

The real estate company CP Group plans to convert the site into a mixed goal called “The Center” with shopping, restaurant and media production systems. The project will include 230,000 square meters of retail space and almost 1 million square meters for office and media production.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, a “confidential, high-quality” restaurant will take more than 10,000 square meters of the retail space.

A restaurant, McCormick & Schmick's, an upscale steak and seafood chain, is already working in the building.

CNN officially moved to the Techwood campus in Midtown Atlanta and left the room in the city center open for renovation. No timeline was announced for the completion of the project.
