The war criminal recognizes the Armenian control over the “army” of the so -called regime.

During the trial at the Baku military court on March 14, the defendant Bako Saikyan admitted that the “army” of the so-called regime was directly subordinate to the Armenian armed forces.

Azernews Reports that Saikyan found: “The” Army “of the so -called regime was the largest armed formation of the Armenian armed forces.”

He also found that the appointment of the “Defense Minister” of the so -called regime, “head of the general staff of the armed forces” and other high -ranking positions was carried out by the Armenian president on the basis of recommendations from the Armenian Ministry of Defense. However, he claimed that he was not involved in these matters and explained: “We didn't hide it.”

The accused admitted that all departments and management questions were checked in connection with the “military structures” of the so-called regime of Armenia.

Rejection of destructive weapons in occupied areas

In the same process, Saikyan was asked about the presence of Iskander-M, Tochka-U and other destructive weapons in the occupied areas.

Azernews reports that he denied their presence and said: “These weapons did not exist in the territory of Garabagh. I can certainly say that these weapons were not brought to Garabagh during my tenure as” President “(2007-2020).”

He added that the “head” of the “defense agencies” “was not obliged to report to the” president “of the so -called regime, but would have necessary the importance of such weapons to inform him. “If they were given to us, the 'army commander' should have informed me about it,” he said.

With regard to the shelling of civilian objects in Azerbaijan, which were followed by the weapons mentioned using the specified weapons and their instructions, Saikyan said: “I can say that these artillery shots do not come from the territory of Garabagh.”
