The Wild Batch 'sets season 2 return date; Add 4 to fill

We have a return date for the second half of the second season of Gremlins: The Wild Charge. The animated Prequel series by Warner Bros. Animation will drop all five episodes of the second season on Max with the new actors Timothy Olyphant, Robin Weigert, Yvette Nicole Brown and Sungwon Cho on Thursday, April 10th.

Olyphant becomes the legendary American legend, Johnny Appleseed; And Robin Weigert will express another famous character from the American folklore, Calamity Jane. Yvette Nicole Brown and Sungwon Cho will also appear as guest voices in later episodes.

Season 2 takes place one year after the events of the first season. Gizmo, Sam and Elle follows when they travel from their house in Shanghai to San Francisco and bring even more magic, mystery and Mogwai chaos. Hot on the trail of a new brood of the evil Mogwai travel our Heroes deep into the American west, which stands against new supernatural creatures and takes up a few mysterious characters on the way.

The voice includes Simu Liu, Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, Bd Wong, Izaac Wang, AJ Locascio, Gabrielle Nevaeh and George Takei. The previously announced guest voices include John Glover, Michael Paul Chan, Ronny Chieng, Keith David, Will Forte, Kelly Hu and Jimmy O. Yang.

The series is produced by Amblin Television in cooperation with Warner Bros. Animation. Steven Spielberg, together with Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey, is a producer, President of Amblin Television and Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios. Tze Chun acts as a show runner and executing producer. Brendan Hay is the executive producer at Michael Chang and Dan Krall, who acts as supervisory producers. Joe Dante serves as a consultant.
