The woman's nostalgic point about how old social media have changed

A thousand -year memory of the early days of social media has triggered a viral reaction.

Samantha Aiello (@notsamaiello) informed her thoughts about how Instagram has developed over the years and emphasized how different the platform was. Your Tikok post collected 756,500 views and 151,100 likes who met with nostalgic users.

“I just want everyone to know that at the beginning of social media we would celebrate 11 likes on Instagram,” she said.

Instagram started in 2010 and quickly became one of the most influential social media platforms so that users can share photos and videos with their followers. First, the app focused on simplicity and offers basic filters and chronological feed.

Over the years, Instagram has subjected significant changes, especially since it was acquired by Meta (then known as Facebook), including the introduction of stories and roles, algorithm-controlled feeds and influencer marketing.

“This is extremely important information,” said Samantha.

Her TikKok was included with many users who flooded the comments with their own memories of early Instagram.

“Scroll the 3 or 4 new posts until you arrived where you stopped for the first time. If nobody posted, you had nothing to see! Missing these days,” wrote a user.

“This section, which showed them what everyone likes, was so chaotic that I needed him back immediately,” said Erin.

“Do you remember when Instagram added the story option? And everyone was upset because it clearly tried to be Snapchat LMAOO,” recalled another user.

“Remember that there was no doom scrolling? Is used to come and be caught in the end,” said another user.

“I remember when the people just post their drinks. Key rings. Hold hands. Only random things with terrible filters and I loved it, we had no idea what we did,” added another.

“I remember that I got 100 likes for the first time and thought I was a celebrity,” said another user.

“Back if they were difficult to post a meme in the comments or mark their friend because there was no thing,” said a commentator.
