The women's route is located in the first New England Championships of Division III in Division III

Boston, MA (February 28, 2025) -The Indoor Echtachtik team at Tufts University completed the month of February with a strong presentation on the first day of the first New England Championships in Division III. On the route at New Balance, the Jumbos took second place in all competing teams after the first day of the competition.

Starting with the field events, the Jumbos started with strong ideas in the pit. Jordan Andrew And Elysse Cumberland Jumped to fourth and fifth place in the long jump and set the tone for Büschel that day. They were only separated by three centimeters when Andrew ended 5.36 m with a brand of 5.39 m and Cumberland A.

Sarah Firth With 3.67 m, fifth place in the pole vault and received the Jumbos points in the team Total in the final field organizer of the day.

On the route Elizabeth Donahue and Zoe Margolies In the points in the longest event of the weekend, the 5000 -M run. Donahue took fifth place with 17: 41.57 and Margolies with 17: 58.23.

Carly Rinko Received the only individual podium for Tufts on this day with a second place in the 1000 -M run. Her goal in 2: 59.56 was a personal best and was her first minute in the event.

Emma Smith took fourth place in the 600 -M dash with a new personal best of 1: 37.25 before Arielle Czechile Took fourth place in the pentathlon. The relays saw more of the same strength bent by the Jumbos, as the team of Kral, Moriarty, Cumberland and Lawal took third place in the 4×200 m relay with 1: 42.45. The distance medley was the last event in which the Jumbos achieved team points when the team from Whitehouse, Meek, Elie and Henisz took sixth place.

The Jumbos will end the competition at the New England Championships of Division III tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. The Jumbos are currently in second place out of 21 rating teams.
