Regular agenda

Accepted report – utility for services and installations
The Chief Operating Officer Chris Nunes has presented an update about services and installations by supply companies and clarified that the municipality of Woodland has no official authority for these affairs. Public supply companies such as AT&T and Tachus have the right to place lines on the street, with just one termination request to the district, not a formal approval. Many front and side courtyards in the community fall into this right of way, which means that every landscape or irrigation installed by the owners is subject to without repairing removal or damage. Care companies that work in defined reliefs generally repair damage during their work, but the restoration in the right of way depends on the pension company or its contractors. While the municipality has no assertiveness, it actively works with supply providers to alleviate damage and to facilitate communication with the residents to ensure that repairs are carried out if possible. The board unanimously accepted the report.

Approved – BME Targhee Model 34 Type 3 Fire Machine Buy
Fire chief Palmer Buck presented a proposal to improve the reaction functions in the forests by buying a BME Targhee Model 34 Type 3 fire engine, which offers off-road capabilities and increased water capacity for the interface between wildland and storm. The engine would replace an aging type 6 -brushed to station 4, whereby the new type 6 arrives in 2026 to replace the brushcar at station 8. The purchase issues 300,000 US dollars from the capital substitute reserve and supplements it with $ 340,000 from the undecided fund credit. The board unanimously approved the expenditure of $ 640,000 and approved the Siddons Martin Emergency Group H-GAC contract. Show presentation
