The young woman who was killed in Orlando should begin as a nurse the next day

Family members of a young woman who was killed in a weekend accident say that her “light” was deleted much too early.

“She really had that much to give the world”

What we know:

The 23 -year -old Imalay Camacho Castano was killed on March 1st on March 1 at Central Florida Parkway in a tragic car accident. She was a passenger in a vehicle that was driven by her friend Raul Gomez (26) when her car collided with another vehicle while Gomez tried to overtake it. Both Gomez and two more in the second vehicle also died according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

The couple had just completed a solemn dinner – Castano had recently passed their care exams and should start their first day as a nurse the next morning.

What we don't know:

The authorities have not yet published any additional details for the examination, including the question of whether speed or other factors played a role in the crash. It is also unclear whether one of the expansion measures attempted by the vehicle or whether external conditions such as the visibility of roads have contributed to the collision.

The background story:

Castano and Gomez were high school darling and together for almost seven years. According to family members, Gomez graduated from school and became the keeper of his two younger brothers after his mother died five years ago. Despite the difficulties of life, he and Castano were described as a “perfect couple”.

The crash destroyed both families on the ground, especially since Castano was about to start their care in nursing. Family members describe them as a bright light, full of life, and always bring people around them.

This crash is one of several recent fatal collisions in central florida that emphasizes concerns about ruthless driving and road safety. Family members are based on each other while they process the sudden and heartbreaking loss.

What you say:

“It's like a nightmare; it is still like a nightmare from which we cannot wake up,” said Carolina Escobar Downie, Castano's cousin. “Shakes earth, I can't explain this feeling to you. I do not wish for my worst enemy.”

Downie said her cousin was always positive and her presence illuminated the room.

“It is so clichéd because everyone says that someone who is over, but when they look back … there is no better way to describe it,” said Downie.

Downie remembered Gomez and added: “He was the nicest soul.”

Downie said Gomez broke off the school and became his two younger brothers when his mother died five years ago. She said he and Castano were the perfect couple.

“They were together for almost seven years,” said Downie. “They were high school favorites; they were the best friends.”

In terms of Castano's effect, Downie considered: “It is surreal because she really had to give so much. The more we sit and talk about it and think about it, see the effects that she had here. We have to give a greater cause from up there.”

What you can do:

In response to the tragedy, Gomez 'younger brothers started a gofundme campaign to cover the funeral costs.
