The public prosecutor Julian Christopher KC announced the Oxford Crown Court that the stolen artwork was probably melted into smaller amounts of gold and was not recovered. The 39 -year -old Michael Jones from Divinity Road, Oxford, is accused of taking a photo 17 hours before theft as part of the information for the break -in. He denies the break -in fee.

Two other men, Fred Doe (formerly known as Frederick Sines), 36, from Windsor, and 41-year-old Bora Guccuk from West London, have not guilty to make themselves guilty of the transfer of criminal property.
