Three Capitals games in the late season receive a program/start time, while Alex Ovechkin's chase is intensified by Wayne Gretzky's gate record

The Washington Capitals announced on Tuesday afternoon that three of the last 11 games of the 2024-25 season were adapted.

The Capitals game game on March 27th is now broadcast at 7:30 p.m. (originally 8:00 p.m.) and displayed on ESPN+ and Hulu. Originally, it was only a monumental sports network transmission. The game of the Capitals Blue Jackets on April 12 is only broadcast on ABC and the season is now set for 12:30 p.m. Finally, the season finale of the capitals against the penguins is also broadcast in the monumental sports network (originally ESPN).

The game changes after Alex Ovechkin registered a hat trick against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday and achieved 882 career goals. The captain of the capitals is 13 Tally away from capturing Wayne Gretzky's NHL -Tore record. Ovechkin is now at a speed to bind Gretzky on April 1st in Boston and to break it against the Chicago Blackhawks on April 4th.

NHL announces transmission and start time changes for Capitals Games

Two of the remaining games in Washington will now be available nationwide. Capital's regular season finals on April 17th is broadcast on the monumental sports network and ESPN

Arlington, va. – The National Hockey League announced the following changes to the Washington Capitals' National TV broadcast plan, including two changes to the start time:

March 27th

Washington in Minnesota is broadcast alongside ESPN+ and Hulu together with the original broadcast by Monumental Sports Network. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. CT after it was originally planned at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CT.

April 12th

Washington in Columbus is only broadcast at 12:30 p.m. ET ABC after it is originally supposed to start in the monumental sports network at 7:00 p.m.

April 17th

Washington in Pittsburgh is broadcast together with the original program of ESPN at 7:00 p.m. in the monumental sports network.
