Three police officers shot, suspects who were shot at Pueblo

A man was shot by the Pueblo police on Tuesday evening after he allegedly shot three police officers.

All three injured officers were taken to a local hospital and were in a stable state on Tuesday evening.

“Obviously we keep the officers in our thoughts and asked and want to make sure that they relax completely,” said Bianca Hicks, spokesman for the Pueblo Police Department, on Tuesday evening.

“We are glad that the community is safe from this very dangerous suspect, who would convey this type of wounds to our officials and also put the community in danger. We are grateful that these are no longer the case and that the injuries were not (life -threatening),” said Hicks.

The police were called to the area of ​​Mesa Avenue and the Cedar Street in the area of ​​Mesa Avenue and the Cedar Street at 7:12 p.m.

Pueblo -PD officials and the deputies of the sheriff of Pueblo County reacted to the scene “and have worked on a suspect, and additional shots were fired.”
