Thursday morning video forecast

Our next impact comes in on Saturday because numerous showers and thunderstorms will roll through the capital area. With the exception of the rain on Saturday, the next 7 days are very spring -like and offer a lot of sunshine!

Today & tonight: On a cool morning on Thursday, the upper 60s become a comfortable day with a sunny sky and mild temperatures. The winds calmed down on Wednesday evening and remain bright all day. An increase in the cloud cover until Friday morning keeps the temperatures closer to average in the upper 40s.

Next: Friday becomes much warmer despite the additional cloud cover. Search for a maximum in the upper 70s morning afternoon. Although we cannot rule out a stray shower on Friday, it is much more likely that all rain will see on Saturday. A cold front that approaches Canada will interact with a developing storm system via Texas, which leads to widespread show and thunderstorms.

From Thursday morning, the capital area under a marginal (1/5) risk for storms was set, which means that one or two thunderstorms could lead to a strong warning on Saturday. Expect moist conditions with numerous showers and storms that run through all day long.

Behind this next system, some persistent showers and clouds can be discovered early Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, dry air will move to the region and the sky is expected. Sunday afternoon will be cooler in the 1960s. Don't forget – it is also time to jump forward, as the savings time of daylight starts on Sunday at 2 a.m.

Next week the high pressure in the region will keep the conditions in the first half of the week sunny, warm and dry. Expect heights every day in the 1970s.
