Timetable for Marsh Madness Set – Crescent City Sports

After a busy quarter -finals on Thursday evening, the LHSAA has set the schedule for the Marsh Madness of the next week in the University Center in Hammond.

Among the teams from the New Orleans region, the District 9-5A rival John Curtis Christian and Edna Karr, the two best seeds of the Division I selection, play their semi-finals on Thursday afternoon.

Top seeded Curtis-a 69-41 winner over Alexandria in the quarterfinals at 2:45 p.m. KARR No. 4 Saatgut Huntington play-the play in a 58-48-quarter-final victory via Ponchatoula Schnell, faces No. 3 Saatgut Woodlawn in Baton Roup at 4:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m.

Two areas are also up to the semi -finals in Division III Select.

No. 2 Seed Academy of the Sacred Heart will complete the opening evening against Rosepine with the third seed at around 8 p.m. De La Salle, the only street winner in the quarter-finals in the D-III-Select, will be confronted against the top seed in a Mardi Gras Matinee on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with top seed Lafayette Christian against Lafayette Christian

In Division II Select, Catholic No. 2 Vandeilt Catholic accepts Parkview Baptist on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Of the eight semi-finals in the four selected departments, the ash rustepin is the only one to be planned at night. The other seven are planned for one of the three early time windows a day (1, 2:45 and 4:30 p.m.).

The six -day run of five games per day begins on Monday and ends with 10 championship games next Friday and Saturday.
