Tiny Jesus figures that remain in the US capitol after the TikTok trend

In the past few days, congress employees who work in the US Capitol have seen something unusual in the normally solid corridors and offices in which the congress heads its shops: Tiny Jesus figures appear everywhere.

Helpers for Congress shared pictures of the small statues on X after they discovered them around the Capitol. One was found in a marble column in the Statuenhalle, another was seen on one pillar directly in front of the doors of the speaker of the House's Office.

Some are somewhat hidden, including a tiny Jesus who is high on a small rocky jump, and one next to a frame on the wall. Another tiny figure was discovered in a legislator of a legislator in the Cannon House office building.

Anyone who puts the Jesus figures around the Capitol seems to take part in the new Tikok trend “Mini Jesus Figure”. Tikok even sells packs with up to 100 tiny Jesus statuettes in the app's shop, TikTok Shop. Many Christian users encourage others to buy them to place them in shops, hospitals, petrol stations or other stops that they do throughout their days.

Tikok users who take part in the trend publish videos of themselves and leave the figures in public spaces, often with the hashtags #jesuslovesyou and #spreadinghelove. After some of the viral videos, the trend should remind that “everyone needs a little Jesus”.

Users can search the expression “Mini Jesus” in the app to see dozens of people who spread Jesus by finding the figures for strangers.

CNA discovered one of the characters near an entrance to the Capitol. The Jesus statue corresponded to the online messages “Jesus loves you”.

Erik Rosales, Capitol Hill correspondent for “EWTN News Nightly”, said CNA, he heard of “More than two dozen Jesuschild on the Capitol Hill” in the building.

Rosales said CNA that he spoke to a number of travel guides who told him that they had seen some while giving tours.

“They don't remove them, but they let other people know. Then the architects of the Capitol are those who take them, ”said Rosales. “You collected a few of you.”

Anyone who places them there seems to be determined to keep Jesus' presence in the Capitol.

In a post on X Politico Reporter Mia Camille McCarthy said that shortly after she removed a figure near her office.

It remains a mystery that leaves the Mini-Jesus statues, but one thing seems to be clear: it is a message that is intended for everyone, Democrats, Republicans, independent and even members of the press.
