Tips lead the FMPD to arrest a child's sexual exploitation – the Fort Morgan Times

A 33-year-old man from Fort Morgan is charged by the Fort Morgan police for child pornography in connection with child pornography.

According to a publication by the Fort Morgan police authority, the FMPD Detective Division received two tips on potential child pornography in January, which was connected to the same IP address and which was assumed that it is located in the Fort Morgan region. The tips indicate at least 86 pictures and videos in which small children are involved in children's pornography.

Detectives were able to receive a search order for a place of residence that was carried out within a week. During the search, the officials were able to confiscate several electronic devices that are able to transfer or store illegal content, the publication said. Forensic studies of the devices showed evidence that indicates a social media account that may have been used in connection with the alleged crimes.

A second search order was issued for the social media account, and the investigators received the information at the end of February. On March 3, detectives discovered over 500 links, mainly video files, which included explicit content with young children, according to the FMPD. This led to an immediate application for an arrest warrant.

On March 3, Corey Stacy was arrested for suspicion of a child's sexual exploitation. He is currently being recorded in the Morgan County Detung Center and is waiting for a court appearance. The authorities are reminiscent of the fact that all charges are accusations of the law enforcement authorities at this point, and individuals are considered innocent until they have been proven in court.
