Tips to combat cyber attacks on GNSS/PNT systems

For our edition in March 2025, Professor Washington Ochieng suggested the following question to the members of our editorial advisory committee: If we discuss the security of GNSS/PNT systems, we almost always focus on disorders – i.e. meaconing, intrusion, jamming or spoofing. However, GNSS/PNT systems are embedded in systems of systems that also offer many other options for cyber attacks. What should we do about it?
