Tire fire near Central and Tower examined

Albuquerque, Nm – in an equipment courtyard near Tower and on Sunday morning a fire broke out and sent black clouds of smoke to the sky over Albuquerque.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue received calls about the fire shortly before 11:30 a.m., according to which units were sent by both AFR and Bernalillo County Fire Rescue.

The Motor 7 arrived first and reported a tire fire with several vehicles and other pieces of devices. Motor 7 and Motor 17 then put both water on the fire, which was finally brought under control.

No structures were damaged in the fire, but several equipment was damaged. No injuries were reported.

Feuerer investigators reacted to the scene, but for the time being the cause of the fire is indefinite.
