Tours FC away from the French football map

Tours FC has disappeared from the French football map today. Their liquidation was confirmed by the French Football Association, the management committee continued to remove the club's teams from all leagues in which they participated.

At the time of their distance, the men's team was the top of the R1, the fifth stage of French football. Her last two games had been postponed in the middle of the future of the tours. There is no longer any doubt. With a financial hole with a value of € 600,000, the association has now gone the business and was removed from the league. The tours had hoped to ensure financial guarantees to maintain their status. However, they did not do this, although the debts have not been decreased in the past few weeks when the stakeholders secured the club's short -term future.

Tours were only taken in the 2017/18 season in Ligue 2. The former players include Olivier Giroud, Medhi Benatia and Laurent Koscielny.
