Traffic effects on the I-45 towards the south, I-20 in the east, February 28th in Dallas County

In the following projects, the traffic effects will have the traffic effects on Friday, February 28:

  • Dallas -The weather permits, the Interstate 45 (I-45) to the south is limited from the I-30 exchange between Commerce Street and the Logan Street from Friday, February 28th, March 3, on a trail near the I-30 exchange. The right lane of the I-45 towards the south remains open during this work, and considerable delays can be expected in the corridor. The drivers should plan an additional travel time in this area in advance or, if possible, look for an alternative way. The overall project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025, which allows the weather.
  • Duncanville -The weather allows, all lanes of the I-20 in the east are from Duncanville Road/North Main Street (MM 462) and the Cockrell Hill Road from February 28, 28 to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1st, as part of an ongoing corridor improvement project to the front roads from Duncanville Road/North Main Street (MM 462) and the Cockrell Hill Road closed. The drivers can expect delays in the corridor and should be attentive to slower traffic. The overall project is expected to be completed in early 2025, which allows the weather.
