The Chattanooga Department of Public Works has released the planned road work in the city next week.

The weather permits, the following locations are open in the week of Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7th.

• Tabitha DR from Norcross RD to Vanessa Dr.
• Northern Hills RD by Thomas LN to Thomas LN
• Northwoods DR from the Carmack RD to the dead end
• E29th ST from S Orchard Knob to 4th Ave.
• E 48. ST from Wilson RD to Edinburg Dr.
• E 49. ST from Wilson RD to Edinburg Dr.
• E 51. ST from Wilson RD to Woodland View Cir
• Glenn falls from W 54TH ST to the dead end
• Michigan Ave from Maryland Ave to Alabama Ave.
• Seneca Ave from Westbridge RD to the Edelweiss St.
• W 25. ST from Market St to Broad St
• W 28. ST from Market St to Broad St
• W 33. ST from Chandler Place to Alton Park Blvd

Single-lane closures are required, with two-way traffic being maintained by the rubber bands.

Drives and intersections can close briefly, while the crews tie up the crews and exceed these points.

All work can change without prior notice.

Planned construction

• Douglas Street in the Oak Street
  • The utility installations associated with the new expansion of the Fletcher Hall lead to the closure of the Douglas Street between the McCallie Avenue and the delivery point of the UTC library from Monday, March 3. About 100 feet of the OAK Street west of the Douglas Street are also led during the construction near the building, which will last until August 1, 2027.
• 417 Thompson Street
  • The Thompson Street will be closed from Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7th, in the 400 block for installing a new sewer envelope. Detours are published.
