Dining said in the statement that it worked with Transact to determine the root of the problem, but still does not know the final cause of both shutdowns from Wednesday afternoon.

A global problem that affects the provider did not allow the app to be available on Tuesday, but it added on Wednesday that the shutdown is no longer a global problem. In order to alleviate the effects of the shutdown, the food has redistributed the employees to better enable a better personal order.

When choosing the dining areas in the app, the list was that every location was “closed” today, even though all the dining variety worked for regularly planned hours.

On Tuesday, Daniel Nava, Food Service employee in Epicuria at Ackerman said that the app's unavailability led to the students not ordering food in class and then picking them up. He also said on Tuesday that students who did not receive their orders due to the unavailability of the app were offered a strike manufacture.

Dining assumes that the app will resume the service for the meal period of dinner, the explanation says.

“We understand that the app is two consecutive days frustrating,” said Dining in the explanation. “At this point, however, we do not believe that this shows a bigger problem with Transact Mobile.”
