Trees removal brands Start of the Diablo Road Trail project

The crews began to clear trees along a part of the Diablo Road in Danville on Monday – preliminary work, which represent the start of efforts to build a new public route in the region.

The tree work and the associated traffic disorders between Fairway Drive and Alameda Diablo are expected to only take this week. If rain could extend the work in the following one or two weeks, Danville Town said.

“This work is a forerunner for the construction of the trail project to improve the security and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists along the Diablo Road,” added the city officials. “These improvements are a major investment in the security and connectivity of the Diablo -Straßenkorridor. We encourage residents and commuters to plan accordingly and allow an additional travel time when they drive through the area. “

Working hours were planned this Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to minimize traffic disorders and to be aligned with school plans in the region. The locking lane should be minimal, with only one lane is blocked, according to the city.
