Treis: Celebrity furniture manufacturer Tobywood is dead

A celebrity furniture manufacturer based in Lagos, Oluwatobi 'Tobywood' Omoosumi, is dead.

On Friday, Tobywood's family announced his death in a statement published on his X -page, which was preserved by Premium Times.

Since the family announced, there has been a flood of comments and reactions from Internet users, many of whom believe that the death of Tobywood, the owner of 360furnitures, was staged.

A year later

Now, a year after he had regained his freedom from the kidnappers who kidnapped him in Ikeja when he was on the way to Mush to buy materials, the furniture manufacturer died.

The family announced his death and was silent about the widespread claim that he had died through suicide.

They also warned of the spread of misinformation and explained that it only deepens their grief.

“After this painful loss, it is deeply discouraging that unfounded rumors indicate that his death is not real. Let us be clear: this is neither a joke nor a question of speculation. Our family has suffered an unimaginable tragedy, and the spread of misinformation only deepens our grief.

Burial

In addition, the family announced that Tobywood had been rested, but did not reveal the cause of his death.
