Trump issues the Hamas “last warning” about the Israeli hostage publication

US President Donald Trump has published a “last warning” to publish the hostages in Gaza.

“I send Israel everything it needs to end the job, and not a single Hamas member is safe if you don't do what I say,” said Trump in a long contribution on his social truth.

Hamas accused the US President of having encouraged Israel to break the ceasefire company currently operated between the two sides.

Trump's statement came just a few hours after the White House had confirmed that it held direct discussions with Hamas about the remaining hostages.

Washington has previously avoided direct engagement with the group, and there is a long -term US directive against direct contact to companies that she lists as terrorist organizations.

In his social media contribution, Trump said that there would be “hell to pay” if the hostages were not published without indicating the type of support that he sent Israel.

“Do not leave all hostages later and immediately give back all the corpses of the people who murdered you, or it is over for you,” he added.

“The time is now the time to leave Gaza while you still have a chance.”

He also seemed to spend a more comprehensive threat: “Also to the people in Gaza: a nice future awaited, but not if you hold hostages. If you do it, you are dead!”

Hazem Qassem, spokesman for Hamas, said in an explanation that such threats “the affairs in relation [Israel] To avoid implementing his terms “.

It is not the first time that Trump threatened Hamas. In December he said that there would be “hell to pay” If no hostages were published at the time of his term.

The contribution came after Trump had made a group of hostages in the White House that had recently been published under the ceasefire.

In the meantime, the Press spokeswoman of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, confirmed that the USA negotiated directly with Hamas to try to secure the release of the hostages.

Israel was consulted before the talks, she added.

President Trump believed to do what was in the best interest of the American people, Leavitt told reporters.

The work of the special representative for hostages, Adam Boehler, was a “good effort to do the right thing for the American people, she added.

“Two direct meetings” took place between Hamas and a US official, “said a Palestinian source of the BBC.
