Tuesday evening strong to heavy storms are possible

Nashville, Tenn. (WSMV) – During the day on Tuesday, some showers go to Middle Tennessee. It gets warm with a high in the upper 60s. A southern wind gives the warm air mass moisture that sets the stage for the development of thunderstorms.

The most humid time in our forecast will be Tuesday evening. A round of showers and thunderstorms will go through. A first watchful weather day was issued because the latest forecast shows increased trust that some of the storms could also be strong.

Windergia will be plentiful to achieve a few strong storms, and now the instability seems to have increased. All modes heavier are possible, including harmful wind winds, hail and even tornadoes cannot be excluded.

The timing of the storms is most worrying because they will go through overnight. Be sure to have a look after updates in the coming days.

A few showers will hang around until Wednesday.
