Tulsa Fire reacts to 377 emergency calls under dangerous conditions on Friday

The Tulsa fire brigade shares a detailed view of the 377 emergency calls between 8 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Saturday.

TFD announced that additional resources were used, including 5 grass rigs, 2 additional engines and 7 40-hour personnel cars between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday to prepare for the increased fire risk.

The fire conditions are similar in Oklahoma on Monday. TFD said that the employees are now increased by two other engines, five other grass and the incident management team for potential emergencies.

Avoid burns outdoors and report burning, says TFD.

Four people died all over the state from the consequences of the fires and the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management confirmed that two of these deaths were in the green country. On Friday, about 130 fires burned when the winds reached over 85 miles per hour, officials said.
