Twins Prospect Walker Jenkins could miss the beginning of the spring season with ankle resilience

Fort Myers, Fla.-Er should be ready for the opening day, but Minnesota Twins Prospect Walker Jenkins was able to miss the beginning of the spring plan for Minor-League after suffering a mild left-wing ankle.

While his teammates have already undertaken live striking training, the top view of the club watched the drills in street clothing on Friday. Jenkins said he was limited to training (no baseball activities) because he recovered from a sprain that he jumped on a ball during his arrival at the Minor League camp on Sunday in Minor-League.

The exhibition plan of the twins of the Minor League begins on March 12th. The association said the injury could be behind the schedule for a week to two weeks. Although Jenkins may not be ready to open the spring slate, he is not too far back, said General Manager Jeremy Zoll.
