Two due to criminal property of a firearm in Bethpage

Bethpage – Two people were arrested for a number of coordinated search commands in the Nassau district for criminal property of a firearm.

According to the Nassau County police authority, the arrests occurred on Monday, March 3, at 7 a.m. in the extended stay in the America Hotel in the 905 South Oyster Bay Road in Bethpage.

The accused Joshua Garrett, 20, from Amityville, and Janea Wolfolk, 26, from Hempstead, were arrested without incident after a loaded Glock 43 9 -mm hand firearm was recovered during the operation.

The operation was carried out with the cooperation between the district prosecutor of Suffolk and the Suffolk County Police Department, concentrating on crimes in the Suffolk district.

Both Garrett and Wolfolk are charged with criminal property of a firearm.

Garrett is also charged in the second degree due to criminal possession of a weapon.

Wolfolk was released on a ticket for the appearance and is due on Friday, March 14th, in court on the 1st district court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
