Two GA men who were examined in a separate sexual exploitation of children

Monroe – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested two men in Georgia in separate investigations into the sexual exploitation of children.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes (CEACC) arrested two men from Walton County for sexual exploitation of children in two separate investigations. Both examinations were initiated from information from the National Center for Most Possibean and Exploited Children in Removing and Distribution of Sexual Abuse of Children.

In October 2024, the GBI CEACC unit initiated an investigation of the online activity of William Grady Scott, 26, from Loganville, Georgia. The examination led to a search command of his house and his subsequent arrest on February 26, 2025. It was found that Scott is selling sexual abuse material from children via the Internet using a messaging platform. Scott was charged with 3 cases of sexual exploitation of children.

Also in October 2024, the GBI CEACC unit initiated an investigation of the online activity of Samuel Berkovich, 18 years, from Monroe, Georgia. The investigation led to a search command of his house and his subsequent arrest on February 27, 2025. Berkovich distributed sexual abuse material from children over the Internet with several social media platforms. Berkovich was charged with 3 cases of sexual exploitation of children.

The Walton County's sheriff helped in both examinations.

Both men were booked in the Walton County prison.

These investigations are part of the continuous efforts by the Task Force for Internet crimes against children (ICAC), which are housed in the unit Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes of the GBI in order to identify the material involved in the trade in the trade in sexual abuse of children. The ICAC program created by the US Ministry of Justice was developed in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers who use the Internet, the spread of sexual abuse materials of children and the increased online activities of predators who are looking for unattended contact with minor victims.
