Two individual crowns for the central role in Start League Athletics Championships

Pella – Amber vroman (Senior, Seneca, Ill.) And Addison Parrot (Senior, Danville) Everyone won their events on Friday to spark the Central College athletics squad at the Indoor Echtachtik Championships of the American Rivers Conference 2025.

Central is the fourth in both men and women's ranking. The women have 31 points and Wartburg College in first place with 23 points up to six out of 18 events. The Dutch men have 17 and pursue the 68 points from Wartburg to five out of 18 events.

Parrott led her first 5,000-meter race of the season and crossed the line in 17 minutes, 31.26 seconds, to win and the third fastest runner in the program history.

“She drove a great race and did what we needed,” coach Brandon Sturman said. “We spread out our top athletes to get as many points as possible. It was exciting to put them on the podium.”

Vroman survived the pole vault field and won the title with a final release of 11 feet, 5.25 inches. It is her first conference title after he recorded three runners -up at the beginning of her career.

“It was a long time ago,” said Sturman. “She did a lot of work and was able to overcome the hump and be a conference champion.”

The Medlay Relay team from Central's Men's Distance Medley has a third place in 10: 16.44 has a place on the all-Conference podium. The four-person unit was presented Derek Webster (Senior, Norwalk), Jrake van Hemert (Junior, Pella), Jack Every (Neuling,

“It wasn't the best time we wanted, but it was enough to get the podium,” said Sturman. “We will meet you for a last chance next week to try to put everything together.”

In the 60-meter lead and 60-meter hurdles, a whopping eight central athletes advanced to the final on Saturday at these events. Four of the eight finalists in the 60-meter hurdles of men are central athletes.


“We are happy about the dynamics you created,” said Sturman. “Hopefully we can really and mentally make ourselves right to do it again tomorrow.”
