Aurora, Colorado. – Two people were arrested

According to the Aurora police authority, the officials were sent to a shootout near a mosque in the 10800 block of the East Bethany Drive at around 9:45 p.m. When the officials arrived, they found a man who suffered from an apparent firing wound.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The forensic doctor's office in Arapahoe County identified him as Yousef Jamal Elnaffar, 23, from Aurora.

The investigators found that Elnaffar went to the parking lot to hand over a pair of shoes that he had sold via an online marketplace when he was shot. Aurora PD called it an isolated incident and said there were no outstanding suspects.

The 19-year-old Isaac Delacruz from Parker was arrested late Thursday, while Kevin Hernandez-Gonzalez, 19, from Francktown, was arrested at the beginning of this week in connection with Elnaffar's death. The Aurora police said the two were instructed to the Aurora Municipal Habtzentrum for Murder and Heavy Robbeats, both criminal offenses.

“Our thoughts are in the family, friends and members of the victim who are affected by this tragic and senseless crime,” said Mark Hildebrand, head of the Aurora PD investigation department. “The rapid arrests of the suspects should serve as an example that the men and women of the Aurora police department only rest until those who have victims are captured and taken into account for their actions.

“Our gratitude goes out to our partner agencies, who have provided critical support when arresting these violent criminal support. We hope that the arrests offer the friends and family of the victim a feeling of justice that they deserve very much. “

Hernandez-Gonzalez is recorded with a bond of $ 1 million, while Delacruz was exhibited by a no-bond hold. The 18th public prosecutor's office declared official charges against the two on March 19.
