Tybee Island celebrates the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

Tybee Island, Ga. (WTOC) – The weekend celebrations for St. Patrick's Day are in full swing. Many people packed Tybee Island on Saturday for their annual parade in St. Patrick's Day.

We are only a few days away from the day of St. Patrick's Day, but as we know, the celebration begins early in the coastal empire. Including on Tybee, where hundreds came to the island to the annual parade to St. Patrick's Day in Tybee Island.

“Happy St. Patrick's Day!”

It is known that it is a weekend celebration in the entire area.

People lined the parade route on Saturday to celebrate.

“We are here to pump the crowd and display,” said Jaidah Williams, chief captain of the Oglethorpe Charter School.

From the Oglethorpe Charter School Jubel Team to participants and companies that make themselves duty to participate year after year.

“Our family has been in business on the island for over 45 years. So for us it is very important to be part of the community and take part in events, and we love things that bring people to the island and everyone together, ”said the Tybee accommodation group Dillion Patel.

“We want to represent the city and show our company and bring in people,” said Shanon Howell in Tybee Ferienz.

Families, children, visitors and even WTOC packed the island for weekend fun. Since many will prepare for a busy St. Patrick's Day on Monday.
