UAPB concludes the schedule for the 2025 football season

After some mixed and last minute adjustments, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Football Team completed their schedule of 2025 on Wednesday.

UAPB added a home game against Lincoln University of Oakland, California, and filled the emptiness that was created by the Southern Heritage Classic from this date to September 27th.

The Oaklanders are a non -connected team without a home stadium. Since the program was founded in 2021, Lincoln played four Swac opponents, most recently Florida A&M, on November 11, 2023. The Oaklanders also played South and Texas -Süd -Süd -Süden this year.

The young program went 0: 23 in the last two seasons and won the last win on November 5, 2022 against the NCAA Division II opponent Bluefield State from West Virginia.

The Lincoln game will be home after starting the season with street games at Texas Tech and Central Arkansas. A good week will follow before the Swac game begins in Memphis against Alcorn State in the Southern Heritage Classic.

In addition to the opponents of the Swac West Division, UAPB Florida A&M, Alabama State and Bethune-Cookman moves from the east. Famu will come to Pine Bluff while the Golden Lions travel to Alabama State and Bethune.

The return game will be against Westgate Christian from Houston on October 11th.

The Golden Lions schedule rounds off five home games, six street games and a neutral site affair. In addition to Lincoln and Westgate, the Grambling State, Famu and Southern will organize Field Field.

UAPB enters the third season under head coach Alonzo Hampton and would like to improve the 3-9 overall record of the last year and the 2-6 Swac performance.
