UFC Fight Night – Marvin Vettori against Roman Dolidze 2: Fighting card, predictions, opportunities, early days, live stream

Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze are back. The middleweight competitors will follow their fight around 2023 in the main event of the UFC Fight Night on Saturday.

Vettori (19-7-1) previously defeated Dolidze by unanimous decision at UFC 286. The unique title Challenger claimed that he “F-I had” repeatedly in his last fight against Dolidze “F — Ed Up” and awaits a decisive performance this weekend. “The Italian Dream” has only fought once since then and lost a decision against Jared Cannonier, while Dolidze caused three more fights.

Vettori suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery and brought him to the shelf for 21 months, his longest UFC release since his debut nine years ago. The notorious Hitzkopf chomp as part of the fight, but free time allowed him to mature.

“I was in the UFC when I was 21 or 22 years old. I was so naive,” Vettori told CBS Sports. “Every bone that was thrown on me, I tried to catch it. I wanted to take everything. This is the first time – even in the amateurs – out of a struggle from something massive.

“I had a tunnel vision … I come from a small town. Everything happened quickly.”

Take a look at the full interview with Marvin Vettori below.

Dolidze (14-3) shares Vettori's self-growth and rage management trip, although he suggests that Vettori lost his common strip years ago. Vettori successfully implemented a striking gaming plan against Dolidze in the first meeting. The Georgian fighter believes that the judges have given the wrong athletes the fight. Dolidze insists that his forward pressure brought him the fight, even though Vettori landed more insult.

“Go back and take a look at the fight. You will understand who was angry and who was not,” said Dolidze to CBS Sports. “I always went forward. He was smart because he didn't go forward at all. I waited for him to do it because he always went forward against every opponent. But he didn't even take a step forward with me.”

The return of the campaign to Las Vegas' UFC APEX is low. You will have difficulty finding a lot of star power or divisional relevance. Without the main event, the only ranking fighter on the map is number 12 of Waldo Cortes Acosta in the preliminary rounds. For this strictly pursuing violence: Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos against Chidi Njokuani has a high factor potential.

Below you will find the rest of the fighting card for Saturday with the latest chances of winning before we make a prediction and select the main event.

forecast

Marvin Vettori against Roman Dolidze: Dolidze correctly identified that he has to manage his pace. Dolidze tired in her first fight and then against Nassourdine Imavov, the latter dolidzes being the first five-round fight. Dolidze even looked tired against Anthony Smith in a light heavyweight. Vettori has the feeling that the veteran signed the UFC four years before Dolidze, but the Italian fighter is Dolidze's junior for five years. In terms of sport, Vettori should improve when Dolidze begins to glide. The same applies to their technical progress. I am not sure whether Dolidze made the necessary improvements to beat Vettori. Dolidze bumped into round 1, but fell back when Vettori exceeded him. Jabs, leg kicks and movement Vettori won the fight. I suspect that the same strategy works again. Vettori's long discharge is worrying, but not enough to root against him. Vettori about a unanimous decision
