UNC basketball travels to Tallahassee to meet the Seminols from Florida State

The UNC basketball program has a short turnaround this week because you will play your last Monday game of the regular season.

After defeating Virginia in Chapel Hill on Saturday afternoon, the Tar Heels go to Tallahassee to take over against Leonard Hamilton and the Seminols of the State of Florida.

This could be the last time that the Tar Heels resigned against a team led by Hamilton against a team against the head coach of the state of Florida at the end of the 2024-2025 season. If the two programs do not meet in the ACC tournament, this will be the last time that North Carolina will compete against Hamilton, the man who has managed the seminols since 2002.

Hopefully his successor does not attract any squads full of length and sportiness, with the Tar Heels struggling in the past.

Key to victory for North Carolina

The state of Florida has a clear advantage in this, so it will of course be important that North Carolina remains as far as possible of bad difficulties.

For the UNC basketball program, it is important that you continue your success offensive. When this team scores 80 or more points, they organize an 11: 3 record, two of these losses against teams that stood in the top 10 nationwide at the Matchup.

North Carolina has to continue to do what it has done: to force stops on the defensive side of the ball, to get out in the transition and to ensure that the ball moves at the offensive end of the floor.

Something you have to pay attention to

Although he scored 12 or more points in the last three games of the UNC basketball program, the doctoral student of the fifth year was not very efficient on basketball.

During this period, Davis connected with only 13 of his 43 attempts to shoot, including only four out of 21 from beyond the arch. While he still stays close to the free -wire line, it feels as if Davis are pushing a little and forcing some questionable recordings.

North Carolina doesn't need him to be perfect. The Tar Heels just need him to play the right game.

Davis' shots will fall; He is proven again and again. However, when he fights out of the ground, he has to use his presence to influence others, since the teams, wherever he is on the floor, pay a lot of attention to him.

So that this team can make a move into the NCAA tournament, they need Davis to be efficient and effective. We have to wait and see whether the game on Monday will bring the star of the Tar Heels back into the track.
