Memphis, tenn. – The baseball team of the University of Memphis put the second game of a three-game weekend series (5: 3) in Lindenwood on Saturday evening in the FedExpark Avron Fogelman Field.

The tigers drew 10-8 in the season, while the Lions improved to 9-11.

“Our inconsistency makes it offensive to sit down in positions like this,” head coach Matt Riser said. “We did a good job in the first three inning and then started giving away outs … We have to be better on the offensive.”

How it happened
For the second time in a row, the Lions first climbed on the board on the top of the first inn on a two-off playing field of left-handed starter David Fall.

RHP Will Howell Entered to the ninth and threw a perfect inning, hitting 17 parking spaces on the side.
After a single-out single from Turner at the bottom of the ninth use, the tigers could not complete the rally and fell on the lions 5: 3.

Testify
