University of Mississippi – Ole Miss Athletics

Aiken, SC – The No. 14 ranking of Ole Miss Women's Golf Team begins on Monday in the Old Barnwell Derby Match Play in Aiken, South Carolina.

With eight of the top teams in the nation playing in the championship, the event uses a format in a clip style over two days to determine a champion.

Based on the current NCAA ranking, the rebels will be the No. 5 seeds and look at the No. 4 Virginia in the opening round in Old Barnwell at 7:30 a.m. The winner will play South Carolina's winner against Duke. The loser will go into the consolation holder and play the loser of this game.

No. 6 State Florida, No. 9 Wake Forest, No. 18 Auburn and No. 19 Mississippi State form the opposite side of the bracket.

Old Barnwell is a private National Club near the opening of the historical Aiken, which will be opened in 2023, embedded on 575 hectares of sandy soil and rolling hills, surrounded by highly towering longleaf and lollly pin. The event this week is free of charge and accessible to the public.
