UnlV softball team shared day one of the UC Santa Barbara tournament

Santa Barbara, California (Unlvrebels.com))) -The UnlV soft ball team shared on the first day of the UC Santa Barbara tournament, which was held on Friday, February 28th in the Diamond Campus. The rebels fell 9: 3 against Saint Mary's in the first game, but jumped back in the second game and defeated Creighton 7: 4.

UNLV (10-6) and Saint Mary's (8-8) went back and forth and exchanged the lead, but a four-run fifth inning of the Gaels had them brought to the top. SMC then added three more in the seventh. In game two, the rebels in the second inning fell against the Bluejays (7: 4) behind 2-0, but scored in the next three out of four innings to win the victory.

Ariana Martinez led the scarlet fever and gray on the plate, which hit a combined .500 (4-by-8), which contained a Homer and three RBI. Game 2: UnlV 7, Creighton 4
