In this case, the DEORIA police from Up have arrested a suspect, while the efforts to track down others have not yet been completed.

A man in Uttar Pradeshs Deoria was stripped naked before he was brutally beaten with a belt over alleged mobile theft. A video of the incident has become viral on social media since then. It was initially divided as an Instagram story for close friends by a man identified as Priyanshu Singh.

The now viral video also has a text in Hindi. It reads: “Waapas aa Rahe Hain Apne Andaaz Me, Log Bhool Gae Hain Hamein [We are coming back in our style; people have forgotten us]. ”

It opens to show the half -naked victim who lies with his face down on a sofa while another man sits on his face. In the course of the video you can see another man who mercilessly whips him with a belt and at the same time records the attack on his phone.

When the victim tries to pull his pants up, the man who sits on him pushes his hand down with force, while the other continues to strike him.

After the video of the attack on social media had become viral, the police arrested one person and actively searched for the other.

“In connection with the case, a person, Rohit Srivastava, the son of Ashok Lal Srivastava, residing in Hariya Ward number 5, Salempur, Deoria, was taken into custody and is interrogated,” said the police from Deoria.

They added: “Another person, Priyanshu Singh, the son of Dhananjay Singh, living in Dehri, the post office station of the post office, was identified and is searched. Further legal proceedings are underway. “
