Updated: Rochester man, who was sentenced to a sister friend after a fatal shootout

Rochester-after 36-year-old Cody Perry in Rochester was found guilty about his sister's fatal shooting of his sister's fatal shooting, was sentenced to eight to 10 years in prison on Friday, March 14th.

Perry has been captured in the prison system of Plymouth County without deposit since his detention in April 2023.

During a pre -judicial conference in September 2023, Pond argued that Doberck had a “history of violence and abuse” to Haley Perry, and explained that this case was “a random shootout in which the main native of the deceased was”.

The public prosecutor refuted these claims by declaring that Doberck was a “loud” character and on the night of the shootout “in a good mood”.

The defense claimed that the abuse of Haley Perry was more relevant than the public prosecutor.

“Mr. Doberck made violent threats and honestly said disgusting things to Mr. Perry and Mrs. Perry,” said Teich.

Croker, Higgins and Pond did not make a comment on the case at this point.

According to a press release from the district prosecutor, the Commonwealth applied for a “detention of 18 to 20 years” in the State prison for Perry.

The district prosecutor of Plymouth County condemned Perry on Friday, March 14th, eight to ten years in the state prison.
