UPMC illustrates “misinformation” in relation to the support of nurses who are affected by mass shootings

UPMC clarify “misinformation” according to the circulation on social media about how employees of UPMC Memorial are looked after after shooting on Saturday.

According to the post on the Facebook page of Upmc Central PA, all employees are not in the hospital and relax at home.

In the post office it was made clear that UPMC “through personal public relations” ensures that all those affected are properly connected to “complete all the necessary reporting and paper stuff in order to receive the advantages and protective measures that they are entitled to due to injuries to the workplace in accordance with all applicable official requirements.”

UPMC also explained that it is committed to paying all employees of all employees in recovery, and “do this until they go well”.

“There is no timeline for your recovery,” continued the statement.

Our immediate focus was on the support of our UPMC memorial team and ensuring that you have the support and resources you need at this difficult time.

The declaration takes place under concerns from employees and parishioners in relation to the security in UPMC hospitals as well as how employees of the UPMC Memorial would be compensated and treated for trauma, which they received from the shocking events that developed on February 22.

UPMC also organized a virtual town hall for employees on Wednesday, one of the participants shared CBS 21 that security concerns were not addressed exactly.
