Upper West Side Tire Slasher caught

A tire that was hit in West 68th Street at the beginning of this month

A 41-year-old man, Jesus Navarro, who has no permanent address, was arrested in connection with several tire flows over the Upper West Side. Navarro sees itself several crimes and offenses due to criminal mischief in connection with incidents that occur between February and March.


A NYPD official informed Iltuws that they will provide a more detailed report. In the 20th district, however, the following incidents were linked to Navarro:

  • 1st to March 2nd: The tire of a vehicle was shortened the following day between 12 noon and 12 noon. Currently no address details available.
  • 1st to March 2nd: Another incident took place in the same period in which the passenger tire of a victim was drilled. Navarro was charged with criminal mischief for criminal offenses. Currently no address details available.
  • February 23 to March 5th: A vehicle that was parked opposite 25 Central Park West had his tires drill through. Navarro was charged with criminal mischief for offense.
  • 3. March 6th: A parked vehicle in the northwestern corner of the Amsterdam Avenue and in West 68th Street, the tires were accused of Navarro between 11 p.m. and 2 p.m.
  • 4th to March 8th: A victim's tire was broken down between this data. This led to an indictment for offense.
  • March 5th: Thirteen cars left their tires near the 29 West 64th Street between 1:45 a.m. and 1:55 a.m. Navarro charged because of criminal criminal disaster.
  • March 5th: Between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. there was further slash in front of the 67 West 68th Street, which led to another crime debt.
  • March 7th: A vehicle was targeted between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Navarro.

The authorities have not yet announced how Navarro was identified or arrested. Further details can be carried out in the further course of the examination.
