Albuquerque – –

The US law firm for the District of New Mexico has published its immigration statistics for the week. These cases are pursued in cooperation with the EL PASO sector of the US border patrol, the investigation by Homeland Security EL PASO and with the support of other federal, state and district authorities.

For the one -week time on March 14, 2025, the United States public prosecutor submitted the following criminal charges in New Mexico:

  • 5 people were charged with extraterrestrial smuggling (8 USC 1324)
  • 22 people were charged with illegal entry (8 USC 1325)

In a significant case, the authorities on March 7, 2025 issued the transnational criminal organization manager Guillermo Amaro-Rodriguez from Mexico to New Mexico with an indictment against 2022, which accused him of the conspiracy for the distribution of methamphetamine.

In another significant case, Alejandro Villalobos-Torres was arrested for a criminal complaint in which he was kidnapped in 2022 for human smuggling and two men.

Both cases are part of the Operation Take Back America.

In a third case, Edgar Ivan Esparza-LabradorA Mexican citizen who was previously convicted of burglary in 2012 was sentenced to 48 months in prison. US border protection officers recorded Esparza-Labrador In 2024 after he had illegally entered the United States from Mexico.

The protection of law enforcement officers is of crucial importance for border security. During this time, the federal prosecutor pursued a case in which attacks on federal officials in Santa Teresa were involved. On March 7, 2025, Andrew Josiah Segura was arrested and accused of having attacked three US border protection officers in two separate incidents this month. The criminal complaint was submitted on February 28, 2025.

Since the beginning of the 2025 financial year, attackers have attacked 40 border protection officers from the EL PASO sector after 103 attacks are attacked in the 2024 financial year. This cooperation between the authorities is of crucial importance to protect men and women who serve on the front of the country's border security efforts and deter future attacks on law enforcement officers.

These statistics reflect law enforcement measures that were only carried out by the US law firm for the new Mexico district. This includes no persons who have been recorded by officers from the immigration authorities who were only subjected to administrative processing.

Public security and border security have the top priorities for the District of New Mexico under the current leadership. An increased enforcement effort at the border and within the district have led to the identification of extraterrestrials that are involved in illegal activities, or with serious crime stories, including human trafficking, sexual assault and violence against children.

The District of New Mexico comprises 33 counties and divides 180 miles international border with Mexico. Assistant US lawyers from Albuquerque and Las Cruces work directly with federal, state and local law enforcement companies to pursue the persecution of immigration offenses and other federal offenses.
