Utah Swims Durgan McKean Shaatter's Program Record on the second day

Federal Way, Wash.-The Swim and Dive program of the University of Utah on the second night of the Big 12 Conference Championship with a new program record, 25 swimmers, which catch up with a place in the final and three top threeends on Wednesday evening in the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.

“We did very well on the side of the men and earned a lot of personal best. From our freshmen to our seniors, they all did the work. We scored important points both when swimming and diving Jonas Persson. “On the side of the women we had a solid day and some great swimming. People really got on both on the diving and on the swimming side, so I'm definitely excited to see what we can do here in the next three days.”

Overriding

  • In the same race on the side of the men, Jones Lambert Recovered speed and steel second place with a new personal best and the second fastest time in program history, 4: 15.47.
  • Nick Chirafisi Swam A 4: 17.64 for a fourth place.
  • Nolan Arnholt handle 11TH at 4: 21.40 and Jakub Walter Ended his 500-free one at 4: 24.56 and secured 13TH Location.
  • Owen Carlsen And Brandon Miller sponge in 15TH and 16TH Place while Quinn Jones And Oskar Farkas appeared in the C final for Utah and touched the wall by 4: 24.88 and 4: 27.99 for 21st and and 24TH.
  • Erin Palmer He grabbed another top-eight medal for the UTES with a 22.25 finish in the 50-free and a medal fourth place.
  • Complete the evening for the utes, Julia Bartell finished in 21st With 23.10 in the 50-free one.

On the diving side, the women in Utah took part in the one-meter jumping board, while the men accepted the three-meter meter. Five utes, two to 3 m and three to 1m, made it a place in the A-final in the preparations and earned a place in the A-final.

“I couldn't be proud of the performance we have been taking up so far,” said head coach Richard Marschner. “Under no circumstances runs in our way, but I am so impressed by the resistance of the team and the concentration on the things we can control. We were the only team that had five A finalists, one team had four and then had all two or less.”

Won meter

  • Callie Eagglestone secured a fifth place, the highest from Utah on the 1 m, with a score of 293.65. When he went to the final, the newcomer was sown eighth, but moved into the rows in the third round after she had secured 1½ pike on her inside. Her fourth round solidified her reputation and added her total to its front to her front 2½ pike to 55.90 points.

On three

  • Elias Petersen Ended his six-diver list in third place and grabbed the third podium of the UTE. Its end result was 383.30, which was an average of 63.88 points per round. After a small slip in the fourth round, Petersen jumped back and scored 76.50 points on a front 2½ with a double turn.
  • End of sixth place, Jesco Helling achieved a total number of points of 341.85. The front 3 ½ of the doctoral student added 69.75 points and effectively increased its average score to 341.85 for each round.
  • Attila Bernatsky Ended his three-meter list with 262.15 and a 19TH-Place finish.

“Both finals were very exciting and the final of the men came on the last dive from Elias, and that's really all they can ask for. Holly, Kat and Callie were so composed and the way the pigeon is being viewed in zones and NCAAs in a few weeks tonight,” said Marschner.

Look ahead

The swimmers start the third day for the preliminary competition on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m., while the divers have their start at 12:30 p.m., with both groups hope to get a place in the final at 6.15 p.m.
