Vancouver Minister

A minister in Vancouver, who is accused of attacking a 6-year-old child with a belt during a service, was released against a deposit of $ 10,000, according to court documents.

The 42 -year -old Gabriel Hardy is charged with a weapon in the third degree due to the assault of a child, which leads to considerable pain and suffering.

A man who lived in the neighborhood who spoke to Katu on the condition of anonymity said that he saw Hardy on Sunday and noticed that the minister held a service even after his arrest.

The man said that he asked Hardy if he had put the deposit, whereupon Hardy supposedly replied: “Yes, baby!” According to him, the minister reported that he would be relieved before he started preaching.

Clark County's office reported that the incident took place during a service in the “Army of the Lord – Ministry of Defense”. A mother who had asked a friend to bring her child to service on February 16, said her child had returned with blue spots and Melise over her lower back, her hips and her buttocks.

The child informed the mother that Hardy whipped her with a belt about 12 times. The Special Victims Unit (SVU) examined and found that Hardy openly preached physical punishment and claimed the divine ordination compared to the discipline of children. Hardy admitted to the child's mother that he had used a belt for the child.

Hardy is also a father himself after court files.

The authorities suspect that Hardy may have attacked other children in the region in a similar way. You ask everyone to contact the Clark County's office by calling 3-1-1 or sending detective at cjcdetective@clark.wa.gov.
