Veteran FB returns days after the release to 49ers

Kyle Juszczyk stays in San Francisco. The full -back is re -signed with the 49s, According to Adam Schefter from ESPN. Juszczyk is a new two-year contract worth $ 8 million.

The 49s cut the veteran at the beginning of this week, and the team decided not to commit themselves to the 4.1 million dollar -basic content of the full -back. This latest pact hardly moves the needle when it comes to literal savings, but the organization certainly structured the new contract to offer more breathing space in 2025. The team's original decision to publish Juszczyk opened $ 2.93 million in Cap Space.

As Schattle noted, the 49s Juszczyk almost cut in the last low season before the player agreed to reduce salary. This time the organization risked losing the offensive main support, and the 33-year-old flirted briefly with the Steelers. Instead, he will return to a familiar place in San Francisco.

Juszczyk was one of the first additions to Kyle Shanahan And John Lynch Signed when she took over the company in 2017. The full -back has spent the last eight seasons with the 49s and received recognition in each of these campaigns per bowl. While Juszczyk still serves as a traditional blocking fuster, he also had more offensive responsibility than many of his colleagues. He pulled 184 catches with the squad during his time and finds the end zone 13 times.

Teams that are thinking about Juszczyk still have many fallback options. Denvers Michael Burton and Buffalo's reggie Gilliam are still not signed, although none of these options offers the same upward trend as the 49ers of the right -back.

It was already a low season of change for the 49s. Only on the offensive did the team see the deviations from Wideout Debo Samuel and Linemen Aaron Banks And Jaylon Moore. While Juszczyk is not an offensive star, he will offer the team a certain continuity if it wants to return to arguments.
