Video: Father, son saved on Utah Cliffside after the beach overnight

Snow Canyon State Park, Utah -Cropy video recordings of the authorities of Utah capture the life-saving rescue of a father and his 12-year-old son, who is stranded overnight on a treacherous cliff in Snow Canyon State Park.

The ordeal started last Monday, when the couple was disoriented while hiking in the park and fell as dark, said the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Search and rescue teams of the Sheriff Search & Rescue from Washington County, in addition to a DPS helicopter crew, started a comprehensive search that continued on the cold night.

When the rescue helicopter arrived at the crime scene, the thermal imaging showed how the father and son desperately blew and asked for rescue. The video then shows the precision of the rescue when the couple is safe into the helicopter.

The authorities added a remarkable turn to history and said the hikers came across a backpack that was left behind by an earlier victim in the same area. Inside, there were important survival supplements – food, water and emergency ceiling – that had proven to be crucial for the tortur overnight.
