Video of the arrest in Hennepin County under evaluation, says Sheriff

According to Sheriff's Office, the authorities in Hennepin County check a video of two MPs last month.

Officials say that the incident took place on January 9th.

The video seems to show one of the MPs who hit the man in the head, and the other deputy who uses both arms to hold down the individual.

“The detectives involved reported and documented the use of violence/answer to the resistance, as required in the incident,” said the Sheriff's office in a written declaration on Monday evening.

According to the authorities, the person was arrested in the video and reports were submitted for consideration of the indictment.

According to the Sheriff's office, the above video is part of an ongoing review of the authorities to “determine the corresponding next steps”.

Details about the person and where the incident took place were not immediately known.
