Video of the family, which is refused to enter the US Roll Schools -Kating Center, becomes viral

Springfield, Ohio (WKEF)-A video has become viral on Facebook on Tuesday, March 4, who was not allowed to enter the US roller-up clerk in Springfield because the family's six-year-old son has a service dog.

The Galford family visited the ice rink on Sunday, March 2, and the parents thought that their children would drive roller skates like any other family.

Andrea Galford, the mother who posted the video, said the owners of the ice rink told them that because of their six -year -old son Keaton, Murphy, they could not come in, who alerted blood changes due to Keaton's type -1 -diabetes.

The owners of the establishment can be heard in the video that they shouldn't be with a dog if they are allergic. One of the owners says one of Galford's children: “Hello honey, I'm so sorry that your parents do so.”

Dayton 24/7 Now the reporter Jenile Borek Galford asked why she decided to publish the video.

“I and my husband, we are both back and forth, we want to tell this story? It is a lot as a mother to uncover your child,” said Galford. The thing was that we wanted to get our story out to let other families know that this happened. “

The executive director of 4 Paws for ability Jennifer Lutes, the organization that the family received her dog Murphy almost a month ago, said what the owners did was illegal.

“Due to a disability and a dog that reduces this disability, this means that they are approved wherever the public is allowed,” said Lutes.

According to LUTES, families are thoroughly checked and a doctor's note is required to get a dog.

“That is not enough.

“He is trained to sign Keaton's sugar and he doesn't have to be right next to him to do it,” said Galford.

The video has become viral on several social media platforms.

One of the owners of the ice rink published an answer on Wednesday, which has been decreased since then.

Borek received a screenshot about this answer, which is partly called:

I was recently moved into a position with a service animal with which I haven't had to deal with for 20 years, and I was badly prepared, but this was a valuable learning experience. […] I spoke to Marcy with the ADA and I am aware of the service Dog Protocol and we endeavor to make ourselves better in the future. […] Finally, I take this opportunity to apologize to everyone who was offended by this incident. Excuse me.

The Galford started legal steps and Galford spoke about what she hopes to get out of all of this.

“The main goal is to clarify about service dogs. After I have posted this, how many people are really uneducated about what dogs really do,” said Galford.

Borek turned to the owners of the ice rink, but did not hear back.
